Woah! If life had a replay button I would DEFINATLEY be using it right about now. The past month has been so crazy! Saying farewell (note my lack of saying goodbye) to friendships built over the last 6 months, to friends who have been there for the long haul, to family and trying to keep up with them all!

Admittedly, I did shed a couple of tears. Of course, they aren’t of sadness, they’re merely of love and thankfulness of being blessed with so many incredible people in my life. I have recently become more aware of friendships that maintain their strength despite any absences or distraction. I am very fortunate to be exposed to these people, because it is through them that I feel richer and feel as though I am growing with every interaction I have with them. I have recently been reading through “The Secret”, which I thought was going to be a bunch of touchey-feeley rubbish. I haven’t read the entire thing yet, but from what I gather, you can influence your life by projecting positive thought. The power of positive thinking – if you will. I concluded that I must have done some pretty awesome thinking to have such wonderful people classing themselves as my friends and likewise they are mine.

Let’s not forget my family… the ones who know me better than I know myself. I hope that the friends that mean the world to me will pop in and say hello to my family. It would be amazing to know that mum is being kept busy by people who mean the world to me.

I know I mentioned a few awesome people last time round, so this time I will mention some more. I have this Hawkes Bay crew of people who astound me every time I go back there. Sezzy, Bradley, Ryan… You guys are so ridiculously awesome I can’t even begin to explain it. Sad thing is that I am going to have to kidnap every one of you in order for you to come see me, so I suggest getting your passports ready. Sezzy you beautiful friend…. I really do hope to be your cheerleader and will try my hardest to be. Bradley… I’ll be waiting for your call to say youre kicking ass and are ready to dominate the entire world. Ryan…. Thanks for finally caving and creating Super Sonya, Slackman on every comic book shelf = epic. DO IT!
And to the North end crew of amazingness; Fastwalker, Autozamm, Shannon, Ozzie, Emma and Amy; You guys are so refreshingly beautiful and sincere… I know that you will all do fantastically because of your dedication and passion. It inspires me every time I think about you and I hope to keep in the loop with all the brilliance your years have in store for you. Embrace it all and live every minute of it… you are incredible.
Next time I write I’ll be in Aussie… so if you want to say Gidday or anything equally as foreign, please do…

    Rock n roll

Welcome to my page, it’s my first time here too, so I’m secretly excited.

This week brings with it a heap of new things going on.  As of the 18th June 2010 I will have my Diploma as well as National Certificate in Broadcasting thanks to the New Zealand Radio Training School.  I am amped to know what the future has in store.

As of the 7th July I will be based in Melbourne, Australia.  This in itself is incredible.  Who would’ve thought it’s where I would end up! Isn’t it funny how quickly life can unravel before your own eyes!

Whilst I’m writing this, I should thank everyone who has helped me become the person I am today (without it sounding like some horrid academy award speech ceremony).  I will bypass all the stereotypical thank you’s and head straight to the people who I may not have told yet.

NZRTS Students – They’re wonderful! It’s been a fantastic 6 months that I have spent with you all and I know that we are all going to be cranking it in the radio world! I hope to see you all again really soon and hope to kick your ass at a Radio Award ceremony (but drink with you afterward!)
NZRTS tutors/guest speakers - This includes Stevie, cause she’s awesome… Thank you for having the patience to put up with us and help us develop as broadcasters.
Marc Thom – You’re my BFF and I most probably would have lost my mind if it wasn’t for you.  If we were a sandwich, you’d be the bread.  I’m not too sure what point I was trying to make with that, but it sounds philosophical anyway.
U-Stay - YOU guys are AWESOME! Thank you for keeping me company and making me giggle when I didn’t think I could.
Wellington crew – You know who you are.  Thank you for everything.  You have helped make me a better person, and have taught me the value of true friendship.  Don’t you DARE even BEGIN to think that you can get of me that easily… I will be back and it will be GLORIOUS!

That’s about all for now.  Be sure to check out my site and give me feedback, because I am new to this whole thing.

    Rock n roll
